Founder and CEO
Frank founded Changing Track in 2015. He is an economist, urban mobility planner and sustainability consultant. Throughout his 20-year career, he worked with decision-makers and urban practitioners in Europe, Asia, South and North America on making cities more sustainable and resilient.
From Münster to New York. Frank grew up in Münster, a mid-size city often described as Germany's cycling capital. The positive experience of growing up in a city with more bicycles than inhabitants carried over to his professional career. He is passionate about making cities less car-dependent and more sustainable.
Frank worked as an EU project coordinator and international consultant with dozens of cities throughout the European Union, Russia, Asia, Latin America and now North America. His expertise ranges from supporting small and ambitious towns to global cities such as Vienna and New York City.
Frank is a strong promoter of a balanced development of all transportation modes. Based on his global expertise in strategically planning and implementing innovative urban mobility and transportation projects, Frank strives to change the track of cities towards a more sustainable and resilient urban future.
After living in Europe and working there for more than 14 years as an urban mobility and sustainability consultant, Frank changed his personal track in 2014 when he moved with his family back to New York. Frank's personal aim is to positively change the tracks of his customers and the cities he supports.
